Getting products into dealers’ stores faster and at less cost means dealers can be more profitable, which is our objective for our customers
House-Hasson Hardware announced the completion of a $2 million, 100,000-square-foot expansion of the company’s Prichard, W.V. warehouse, according to a press release.
“We’ve moved in, the racks are up and the bins are being filled,” said Don Hasson, House-Hasson president. “Our West Virginia warehouse will have the same items as are available through our Knoxville warehouse. This means faster and more efficient shipping and delivery of all our products to our customers.”
The addition brings the West Virginia warehouse to 250,000 square feet.
Over the past 15 months, House-Hasson spent roughly $3 million on numerous renovations throughout the company’s warehouses by adding warehouse space, new truck bays, racks, conveyor systems and technology upgrades to its warehouses as a result of the company’s 2009 acquisition of Moore-Handley, Inc.
“Getting products into dealers’ stores faster and at less cost means dealers can be more profitable, which is our objective for our customers,” Hasson said. “We now have in place everything we wanted to accomplish that goal.”
