House-Hasson Hardware announced Friday that it will invest $2 million to expand its West Virginia warehouse. The 100,000 square-foot addition will bring the Prichard, W.Va. warehouse to 300,000 square feet.
“This is a direct result of the Moore-Handley acquisition, which has had the universally positive effect on our company that we had anticipated,” House-Hasson Hardware President Don Hasson said in a statement. “With this expansion the West Virginia warehouse will contain all the products available through our Knoxville warehouse, making deliveries even more convenient for our customers.”
House-Hasson acquired Alabama-based distributor Moore-Handley from bankruptcy in October.
The Knoxville-based independent regional hardware distributor also recently completed a 50,000 square foot expansion of its Knoxville warehouse.
House-Hasson Hardware, which has almost $200 million in annual sales, serves 17 states, the Caribbean basin, and several other foreign countries.
