Our facility additions will ensure continued efficient operations

(Feb. 18) Knoxville, Tenn.-based House-Hasson Hardware has announced it will be making approximately $1 million in expansions to its Knoxville warehouse to accommodate expanded inventory and approximately 50 additional employees.

The company said the expansion stems from its recent acquisition of hardware distributor Moore Handley and has resulted in an additional 100 employees company-wide.

House-Hasson said it would be adding a 50,000-sq.-ft. mezzanine, six new truck bays and a 50,000-sq.-ft. parking lot to its existing 350,000-sq.-ft. warehouse. Construction is expected to take three months.

“Our facility additions will ensure continued efficient operations with our expanded inventory and a smooth flow of goods to our customers. The result is growth in our employee family and improvements to our facilities,” president Don Hasson said.

House-Hasson distributes to more than 1,000 independent hardware dealers in 12 states and the Caribbean.
