KNOXVILLE, TN , Jan. 26, 2026House-Hasson Hardware’s January Buying Market, held Thursday, January 22, and Friday, January 23, at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, delivered strong dealer attendance, an energized show floor, and meaningful buying opportunities for independent hardware retailers across the region.

House-Hasson dealers explore more than 600 vendors at the Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

Originally scheduled to run through Saturday, January 24, the market was proactively adjusted in response to a looming winter storm. House-Hasson leadership condensed the event to two days while extending show hours, ensuring dealers had ample time on the floor while prioritizing the safety of dealers, vendors, and staff. Despite the weather concerns, dealer turnout exceeded expectations as retailers arrived ready to buy, connect, and plan for the year ahead.

The market featured an impressive vendor lineup, with more than 600 vendors in attendance, including over 30 new vendors showcasing products and programs designed to help dealers differentiate their stores and drive profitability. Dealers explored show-only specials throughout the floor, including pallet specials and BOGOs, while also discovering new products and connecting directly with vendor partners, House-Hasson’s sales team, leadership, and dealer services staff.

House-Hasson dealers had the opportunity to meet new vendors across the market in emerging categories for hardware retailers, including Berne Apparel.

“The strength of this market really came from the depth and quality of the vendor lineup,” said Matt Patti, Vice President, Purchasing at House-Hasson. “We brought together the vendors our dealers rely on most, along with a strong group of new vendors and product offerings. Between show specials and new assortments, dealers had real opportunities to make decisions that support their stores both now and throughout the year.”

Vendor participation and flexibility played a key role in the market’s success. Even as the weather forecast evolved, vendors demonstrated strong commitment to the event—showing up, adapting quickly, and staying engaged to ensure dealers had productive time on the floor and access to the specials and support they came for.

“The traffic on the floor was outstanding,” said Dave Doering, Senior Vice President of Sales at House-Hasson. “Dealers showed up ready to shop and make the most of the market, and they truly appreciated the extended hours that allowed them to take their time while still staying ahead of the weather.”

Steve Henry, CEO & President, is a familiar face to dealers across the region as they walk the show floor.

“Our markets are critical to how dealers plan for the year ahead and protect their profitability,” said Steve Henry, President and CEO of House-Hasson. “We understand how important this buying opportunity is, and we’re committed to delivering a strong, well-supported market—even when circumstances change. The adjustments we made allowed dealers to focus on their business, connect with the right partners, and get the most value from their time with us.”

The January Buying Market was a strong start to the year and a clear reflection of House-Hasson’s commitment to providing independent retailers with the tools, opportunities, and partnerships that support store growth and long-term profitability. House-Hasson looks forward to welcoming dealers to its next in-person market, August 6–8, 2026, in Sevierville, Tennessee.
