House-Hasson Hardware Company SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions :: Effective Date: 11/26/25

1. Program Description

House-Hasson Hardware (“House-Hasson,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an SMS/text messaging program to provide customers, retailers, and wholesale partners with order confirmations, shipping updates, delivery notifications, and account alerts (“SMS Program”).

By enrolling in the SMS Program, you authorize House-Hasson to send you automated text messages at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive approximately 1-3 messages per week on average, or up to 3 messages in a single day if you have multiple orders being processed or delivered simultaneously.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent and received. House-Hasson does not charge any fees for SMS messages.

2. How to Enroll

You may enroll in the SMS Program through any of the following methods:

Option 1 – Verbal Consent (Phone or In-Person):
When speaking with a House-Hasson representative by phone or in person, you may provide verbal consent to enroll in SMS messaging. We will ask you to confirm your mobile phone number, verify that you are the owner or authorized user of that number, and confirm your consent. We record all verbal consents for compliance purposes. You will receive a confirmation text at the number provided.

Option 2 – Paper Form Enrollment:
Complete a House-Hasson intake, order, or service form and check the SMS consent box. Sign and date the form. You will receive a confirmation text at the mobile number provided on the form.

3. Your Consent

By enrolling in the SMS Program, you provide your express written consent to receive automated text messages from House-Hasson at the mobile number you provided. You understand and agree that:

  • Message frequency varies (typically 1-3 per week; up to 3 per day during busy periods)
  • Message and data rates may apply; your carrier may charge you for messages
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase or doing business with House-Hasson
  • You may revoke consent at any time using the methods described in Section 4
  • You may text HELP for assistance at any time

Privacy Notice: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers (messaging platform vendors, carriers) only as necessary to operate the SMS Program under contracts that protect your information.

4. How to Opt-Out (Cancel)

You may cancel your enrollment at any time by any of the following methods:

Primary Method – Text STOP:
Text STOP to 865-329-6458. Your opt-out will be processed within 5 minutes, and you will receive a confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS messages unless you re-enroll.

Alternative Methods:

  • Email: Send email to support@househasson.com with “Unsubscribe SMS” in the subject line and include your mobile phone number
  • Phone: Call +1-865-329-6458 and request removal from SMS program.
  • Mail: Write to House-Hasson Hardware Company, ATTN: SMS Removal, 3125 Water Plant Road, Knoxville, TN 37914 with your name and mobile phone number requesting SMS removal.

Opt-outs via email, phone, or mail will be processed within 10 business days. You will receive confirmation of your opt-out.

6. Supported Carriers

The SMS Program is available to subscribers of participating wireless carriers in the United States. Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Cricket Wireless, and others.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Eligibility

To enroll, you must:

  • Provide a valid U.S. mobile phone number
  • Be the wireless account holder or have authorization from the account holder to enroll the number
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Agree to these Terms & Conditions

8. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Any message and data charges from your mobile carrier
  • Maintaining accurate and current contact information
  • Not enrolling a phone number that you do not own or are not authorized to use
  • Complying with these Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT – Number Changes:
If your mobile number is disconnected, transferred, or reassigned to another person, you MUST notify us immediately at support@househasson.com or +1-865-329-6458.

Failure to notify us of number changes may result in messages being sent to the new number holder, and you may be responsible for any resulting claims or issues.

9. Message Content

This SMS Program is for TRANSACTIONAL/INFORMATIONAL messages only, including:

  • Order confirmations
  • Shipping and delivery updates
  • Account alerts and notifications
  • Service-related communications

We will NOT send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages under this consent.

You will only receive SMS messages related to your orders and account that you consented to receive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SMS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” We make no warranties regarding the reliability, timeliness, or accuracy of messages.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. House-Hasson is not responsible for messages that are blocked, filtered, or not delivered due to carrier network issues, device settings, or other factors beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOUSE-HASSON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SMS PROGRAM.

Nothing in this section affects your rights under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or other applicable federal or state laws that prohibit waiver of statutory remedies.

Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability, so the above limitation may not fully apply to you.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be posted at househasson.com/sms-terms with a new “Effective Date” at the top of this document.

Continued use of the SMS Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may opt out by texting STOP.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
